The Root of All Evil

I had a dentist appointment on Tuesday. Next Tuesday I have another appointment with a different dentist. That one is for a root canal.

Somewhere in Florida, Lore is weeping.

I have had one root canal previously. I will be seeing the same guy for this one, so I’m not worried about that at all. What made the last root canal so awful was the regular dentist. That guy made me cry once. He made me cry! I’ve got a new dentist now and she’s wonderful. Considering all she’s done so far is take an x-ray and say “It’s the R-word” the fact that I think she’s wonderful already says something. I’m really slow to warm up to people. It took me years to get to like my very first dentist, and he was family and I saw him at Christmas and things!

Anyhow, diggin’ the new dentist, who I will see again a week after the root canal, and then every six months from then on, because I used to be very good about going to the dentist, until the one guy made me cry.

So, yeah, I’m really indecisive about things. I think what I’m going to do is move Pictures of You to dataangel.net and drop the domain registration and hosting for fotoangel.net. I was planning to keep dataangel.net active anyhow, because I like my email address and I don’t want to have to track down everyplace that I’ve registered it just to change it. And changing it would probably cause serious emotional stress to Mim and Dai Fu, who are about the only people who use that address. The gallery switch won’t take place for a few days. Possibly over the weekend, or maybe over the long weekend at the end of the month.

Bits of the new site are coming together slowly. I’m happy with the new look and the new domain and the new hosting (I’ve actually used them before, Rob. This was the first time they ever dropped the ball. The Torrents website is through Netrillium. Several friends and a few coworkers use them as well. I guess I’m just special or something.)
