Ah There We Go
Some database trouble on the host side of things caused a blip. I know you were all lost without me. There thereTM. It’ll be okay.
“Smith” was cancelled after just three episodes. I blame CBS for trying to run it against “Law & Order: SVU”. Maybe they’ll bring it back mid-season or figure out a better slot for it. Maybe something like SPIKE will pick it up. It wasn’t the best show on television, but it was better than a lot of things. Despite Ray Liotta.
What else was I going to say… Hrm. Writing’s not going too well. I’ve written nothing for the Baltimore City Paper Short Fiction contest. The novel hasn’t progressed. I’m trying not to think about NaNoWriMo until closer to the end of the month, since I can’t start that until the first of November. Suggestions for plot are always welcome though. Hint-hint.
We did see Social Distortion last night and it was fantastic. We also got to see “Doctor Who” before we left. Tooth and Claw. Doctor Who, werewolves, and Scotland (oh my)!
I still miss Eccleston as The Doctor.

I am a big Social D fand and was at last nights show. I last saw them in July in Santa Clara (Santa Cruz? - can’t remember). The sound mix was so bad last night that it really sucked some of the life out of it. Still Mike Ness is damn cool for 45.
Good luck with the November Novel writing thing.

There’s a weird thing about Sonar. You’ve got to be way in the back, near the doors for it to sound good. We saw The Pixies there last year and the closer you got the worse things sounded. This time we just started at the back and stayed there.
