Me: You’re going to leave me for someone that can dance, aren’t you.

Kitti: Well it’s natural selection. Those who can dance will fare better than those who can’t! It’s based on historical fact. Kevin Bacon! Madonna!

Me: Ewan McGregor.

Kitti: Uma Thurman!

Me: Michael Flatley. LORD of the dance.

Kitti: Baryshnikov.

Me: Nicole Kidman. Christian Bale. I don’t like him, but I understand he can dance.

Kitti: Justin Timberlake.

Me: He does have the moves.

Kitti: Sammy. Davis. Junior.

[ pause ]

Kitti: It must be exhausting talking to us. This is probably why we have no friends.
