Goal In Life
So about a week or so ago I realised what I want to do with my life. Not bad for being on the short side of thirty-six, right? Well, I mean I’ve always known what I wanted to do, but now I’ve finally got the specifics down.
It occurred to me that what I would really like to do is write Tie-In novels for things like movies and television shows. Unfortunately about the only way to get into that sort of thing is to know someone.
I don’t know anyone. Not well at least. I mean well enough that they’d vouch for me and be all “Yeah, Nine’s really good. Totally perfect for the job”. I think I’ve got the talent to actually do the job, but it’s that foot in the door I haven’t got.
Zannah reminded me that Wizards of the Coast ran a tie-in contest a few years back. Now I’ve just got to stalk my favourite shows and production companies, I guess.
