Weak Vacation
I’ve been on vacation this week. This doesn’t really mean much since my idea of vacation is staying home, sleeping during the day and staying up at night. Which means even less when my idea of sleeping is about four hours.
Anyhow, I was going to write this week. See, I’ve got this novel I’ve been working on and I knew the end was close and I wanted time to work on it. Right now, on the last official day of vacation (not counting the weekend), I have about half a chapter to go. I’m stalling. I’ve been writing this in bits and pieces for almost two years and I don’t want to let it go. I told my friend Eve last night that it’s like sending a child off to school.
Monday, Kitti and I spent the day in Fell’s Point. It was probably the best day of the week.
Tuesday, a doctor appointment meant hours wasted.
Wednesday, I had a migraine and did F-A.
Yesterday I spent far too much time watching Stargate: Atlantis. Sci-Fi was showing the first half of season three to get ready for the mid-season premiere tonight. I also went out with the cats in between thunderstorms.
Today it’s below 50. It’s overcast and it feels about 40 (6 if you’re Centigrade). I was going to do laundry, but there’s little chance of it drying.
So… I will finish my novel. I think. Once I get past the gut-wrenching panic of actually being done.

haha, you watched SGA. We are a hive mind!
Finish your novel or no…okay, I don’t have anything to withhold from you, but I’ll think of something, give it to you and then take it away.

It’s all your fault! SGA is entirely your fault. I’ve been watching it in secret for a while, and then just watched all day, and watched the new one tonight.

Kewl, Atlantis rocks. I’ve been a junky since the SG movie. New title coming out and 2 movies for SG1…where’s my fix man, where’s my fix?
I’ve got almost all eps on DVD.

Would you be willing to loan me the dvds you have? I need to watch seasons one and two of Atlantis.
I loved the movie Stargate but never really got into the series.
