I think I'd be content just to see the Northern Lights. I had friends from Alaska while I was in the Air Force. I asked one if he'd ever seen the Northern Lights, and he told me "yes, very often." I asked why he joined the Air Force, and he told me "to escape the boredom."

I don't think I'd ever be bored seeing the Northern Lights. :)

Ooo.. pretty...

So (sorry, got distracted), isn't there a wives' tale "if it's the First Day of Summer and DataAngel finds it actually cool and not humid, then it's 6 more weeks of summer"?

It's going to be a long summer.

depending on where Kitti came from in Canada, the sun being out at 9pm would be normal during the summer....

I was in Michigan in the summer a few years ago, and scoffed when somone said "early day tomorrow, need to get off to bed." I asked why, they said it was 11pm (the sun just went down about an hour earlier). Then I looked at my watch....wow, that's wicked stuff.
