Oh We’re Such Party Animals
Saturday night’s alright for fighting, but it’s even better for staying home and listening to the greatest hits of ABBA and taking pictures of slugs*.
The slug pictures will be up later. I’m downstairs on the notebook and the camera connector is upstairs and you know, I just don’t want to go all the way up there and miss a single moment of this rock and roll life style.
Maybe I’ll have a cup of coffee. After ten pm.
I tell you. Live fast, die young.
* It is an extraordinarily attractive slug.

Vicky and I aren’t necessarily party animals either, but this weekend was good for it. You were right about the Dyson Airblades at Harborplace, but you failed to mention the equally-cool Big Belly. :) Vicky & I were trilled at seeing the green solar-powered cans lining the inner harbor. I blogged about it and posted it to flickr as well.
If you remember my younger brother, Mike, he’s married now. My youngest brother, Jim, marries Amy in March of next year. All 3 of Irene’s boys will soon be married. :)
I’m glad to see some things remain the same. Ellicott City, MD, still looks like my home away from home. :)

You didn’t mention it appears to be an extraordinarily large slug!

Would I have wasted my time on a lesser slug?
It’s a Great Grey Slug and they can get up to 8 inches in length. That one was almost that, if it wasn’t exactly that.

okay, not to alarm you, but that slug would scare the bejeezus out of me if I saw it in a garden. I’m thinking something out of Harry Potter…need some slug repellent for that!
