Dear House MD
Dear House MD,
I know we had some trouble last year. That whole thing you had with Tritter really shook our relationship, but I knew it was just a fling and that what we had was solid. I forgave you, and we had that time off, and tonight I let you come back and…
Well, I really think you see the error of your ways. I think we’ve both grown as people, and I think we have a great chance of making it through another year together. We’ll just take things that way, okay? One year at a time.
Seriously, that was a really good episode and really promising. I so hope that the writers and staff decide to give us a lighter year after the angst and travesty that was last season. There’s great potential for comedy and drama in the whole hiring-of-new-staff and I hope it goes that way.
And silly squealing below. It’s undignified. You don’t need to see it.
HELLO JAMES WILSON. YOU GOT CUTE AGAIN. LOVE THE HOODIE. LOVE THE EVIL SMILES. LOVE IT WHEN YOU’RE DEVIOUS.
Oh my dog it is so refreshing to see the banter and the humour and the juvenile behaviour and the trust has come back!

I dunno. “Torchwood” has now been dropped from our Tivo list. What makes “Dr. Who” intensely enjoyable isn’t present in “Torchwood”. We were both doing the MST3K dialog (”What’s that, Capt. Harkness?” “Aye aye, sir, to the Batcave… err, Torchwood!”) Vicky & I are split on House. She’s still watching, I’m not. I wonder if another few episodes will bring me back, or convert her to the dark side? (”Come to the dark side, we have cookies!”)

The thing with Torchwood is to completely lower your expectations. It’s completely just candy.
