My friend Bibliotech posted a meme a little while ago and I thought I should share one of the answers with you nice people, because it’s an Absolutely and Completely True Story That Never Happened.
What is your fondest memory of Bibliotech?
The French-and-Indian war! The Kittanning Expedition in 1756. Bibliotech kept saying it “ki-TANGGGG” like a cartoon ricochet noise and making me laugh and no one else knew what she was talking about because cartoons weren’t like that yet.
Never let anyone tell you that Bibliotech doesn’t look cute in a cowboy hat, either. Just don’t get into a situation where you have to run, because she doesn’t do it. At least not well. Three minutes into it she was all “I have a stitch in my side. I have a cramp in my foot. I’m thirsty. Are we there yet” and on and on and on.
And I was like “Hey, knock it off! We’re getting shot at here!” And she said “Well how’s that my fault?” So I said “Well if you hadn’t been singing ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ at the top of your lungs, they might not have found us.” And she went “Well how was I supposed to know they don’t like Twisted Sister?”

I thought “We’re Not Gonna Take It” was a universal sign of friendship and love.
