Enterprise had potential if they kept the original premise of that era of Star Trek History. They chose to rewrite it to new storylines, and it didn't last the 3 episodes I give a new series (new BSG not counted there, took a full season to get me). I did like the episodes where they got the Defiant vessel that was originally lost in Tholian space, but it harkened to TOS, so that was the reason.

Ken, don't tell me you didn't like "Trials and Tribbleations." That episode has to be near the top for well done on DS9.

Wow... I grew up watching the original Star Trek, went to see "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" the opening weekend, liked TNG, *meh* about DS9, and thought Enterprise had potential. I'm honestly not sure what I think of Star Trek returning to its root, recasted for "today's audiences."

What would Gene Roddenberry say?

It might re-ignite interest in Paramount's franchise, which I'm sure they won't mind. Just as comic book fans have mixed emotions about the Batman film franchise, us Trekkies/Trekkers have mixed feelings about the new Star Trek.

<i>"Please don't eff this us, Paramount. Don't rape my childhood. :)"</i>

I don't know of any Nero and I can totally see Sylar as spock. Spock can be really creepy looking in some of the shows and the movie and I think this guy has the same look. I'd say it's a really good choice.

I think Simon Pegg will steal the film. It's everyone else that has me worried. Mostly I think I'm waiting for people to start yelling about Checkov. Dawny and a few other people are a little creeped out by the idea that "Sylar" is going to be Spock, too.

Is "Nemo" a name I should know from the original series?
