Signed up for NaNoWriMo and I don’t know why. I get all inspired and wound up and ready for it and then November first hits and I just collapse.
Anyhow. NaNoWriMo. This year my approach is going to be a whole hell of a lot of short stories. Original stuff, interconnected in some way. Think television episodes. A core cast of characters, a common location. Now, if you’d please, leave me lots and lots of comments containing plotbunnies. Things you’d love to see me write (that ain’t fanfic).
If you lot start saying things like “oh, I don’t know. Something with a table in it” I will HURT YOU.

Something with a table in it! (You know that was just toooooo tempting.) The table is in a tiny room under the stairs in an old house just bought by….? The table won’t move, even though it doesn’t seem to be nailed or glued down. And every time they go in the room, there’s something different on the table. Something that they somehow need yet don’t know they need, or something that they wind up needing within a few days. And if they put something on the table and leave, when they come back the object is gone.
