A friend’s comment on the Scotchguarding of the car:
Excellent! Good thing you added the Scotchguard; we forgot and now they keep eating all my marmalade and drinking all the whisky.
I drove it to work today and it’s really nice. Smooth, accelerates well, handles nicely, and is generally comfortable and safe.
I’ve ordered a TomTom based on a friend’s recommendation.
Kitti has declared the car “a real puddlejumper”. I would’ve said “You’re not allowed to name things” but I don’t know if he’d get it.
Ford: Gateship 1, ready to go.
Sheppard: Gateship 1? A little puddle jumper like this?
Ford: It’s a ship, it goes through the ‘gate. Gateship 1.
Sheppard: No, no, no, that’s all wrong.
Ford: Dr. McKay thought it was cool.
Sheppard: Oh, okay. Well, it’s official. You don’t get to name anything. Ever. Flight, this is… Puddle Jumper. We’re go to launch.
McKay: This is Flight. I thought we were going with Gateship?
Sheppard: Negative, Flight.
McKay: Standby. It’s a ship that goes through the ‘gate… and… Fine. Puddle Jumper, you are clear for launch.

When it’s next to the truck it does look like it would be footwear for a big car.
