Psych!

If you came here last night, you would’ve noticed that the site was down. Kind of disappointing after my “triumphant” return, right? Yeah, well. It’s not the first time it’s happened. See, I thought the domain was set to renew at the same time as the hosting contract. Apparently it wasn’t. It was also, for some reason, not set up right with my hosting company, so I couldn’t just renew it myself. Someone from tech support had to reconnect the two.

I’m re-domained and now it really is set up to renew at the same time as the hosting. Whew.

I have to say, I’ve been happy with this hosting company. I liked them when they were Netrillium. I like them now that they’re AxisHost. They’re fast and friendly.

Course, I still love Warped Webhosting, too! They’re also fantastic, and they were the home of DataAngel.net for years and years. They’re not for the newbie, though. AxisHost has the nice CPanel interface and web-based FTP and clicky-button installation and upgrades of things.

Anyhow, sorry about the momentary lapse in uptime. Hopefully this won’t happen again. Until next August, when things need to be renewed again. Because I’m kind of an idiot like that.
