In non-bean-related news, the birds don’t seem to like the mealworm suet. I think. I can’t remember which block I put in which feeder, but one is completely empty and the other was still nearly 3/4 full. Since the other one was a kind I’ve bought before, I’m assuming it’s the mealworm they’re avoiding.

OR (and just as logically (which is to say, “not at all”)) the mealworm was such a hit that they’re snubbing the other feeder. I should really have been keeping track of this. But at least now I know for next time.

You know, I realize this makes it sound like I don’t have anything better to do with my time than track what food the birds like, but really that’s only a few seconds out of an entire week. I have loads of other things to do! Like knitting! And keeping track of how long the fish in my fishtank live! (some of them are almost 3 years old). I also read.
