Hello, Neglected Readers - Wednesday, April 7th, 2010
If I’ve done this right, one post will now publish here and LiveJournal, with notification going to Facebook and Twitter. For about three of you (and I might be overestimating), that means you’ll hear about it more than once. Sorry about that. But I have fives of readers who would probably like to be informed when I do something nifty.
Having said that… I wish I had interesting news to share. I mean, not that the whole integration thing isn’t interesting… What I mean is that I wish I had something fantastic or really special or unique to share. I don’t ever get to start off entries with things like “I’m going to be on a talk show tonight” or “Well at least they saved the head.”
I’m not even sure what “well at least they saved the head” could possibly be the intro to, but admit it: you know if you saw that right at the top, you’d keep reading.
I’ve had a birthday recently. I’ve been on planet Earth for slightly over 39 years now. One of my goals in life is to be immortal, and I have to say it’s so far, so good. All my New Year’s resolutions are going well. I’m really pleased that I haven’t lost my phone at all. I thought I lost my wallet today*, but I knew where my phone was! I still haven’t touched the Rosetta Stone German lessons, and I’ve done “FA” about making friends, but to be really honest, that “friends” thing was more of a whim.
Anyhow, I did break down and buy the iTouch. I really should’ve gone all out and gotten the iPhone. It’s fun though, the iTouch. When I go to New York next month I think it’ll come in handy. Kitti and I won’t have to stagger around like idiot tourists looking at a map or a scrap of paper. Instead we’ll look like your average idiots who can’t put down a cellphone for more than ten seconds at a time.
I also have a new bathroom sink and a dog that was recently groomed. I tell you, it’s just a non-stop party in my world. Please don’t injure yourself trying to keep up.
I’m not going to multi-share like this all the time, don’t worry. I just felt the urge to be slightly more nerdy than I already am, and this was the most efficient way I could think to do it

* Footnote:
I did NOT actually lose my wallet. It just wasn’t where I thought it was.

You *are* making more friends, if by friends you mean “dogs whose names I know.”
