Words…words..they’re all we have to go on.

My friend Dawny misread “Cardiff’s New Coat” as “Cardiff’s New Goat”. I said she spoiled the surprise - we were going to get Cardiff a goat for his 6-month birthday (we’re really not). And then, with some help from Sam, the following happened.

Cardiff can wear his new coat.
When he goes to meet the new goat.
He may hate the kid
(It’d be sad if he did).
But then, he may dote on the goat.

Again - we’re not actually getting a goat.

Further in the land of animals… Mim and I were at Target on Sunday and we were looking at kitchen utensils. They have a whole lot that are made to look like animals. Things like octopus pot scrubbers and hedgehog vegetable brushes and scissors that look like toucans or flamingos or dolphins.

Then I found the monkey peeler.

Monkey peeler.

That’s what it was called. Monkey peeler.

Do I need to tell you where my mind went?

I showed it to Mim and said “I am going to say two words. Only two words and I don’t think any response is necessary because I know what you’ll think. Got that?” I paused for effect. “Monkey peeler.”

She went there, too.

Another Brilliant Idea

You heard it here first, people. Remember that. Back me up on this when it happens and I start yelling.

I’m waiting for LOLCat ATMs where it shows you pictures “You can has monies! How many monies you want?” And then you touch the picture of the twenty, the picture of the two twenties, the picture of three twenties, etc.

When it gives you the money, you get a happy cat face and “KTHKSBAI!”

If you ask for too much, it says “No can has :(”

Absolutely and Completely True Stories That Never Happened

My friend Bibliotech posted a meme a little while ago and I thought I should share one of the answers with you nice people, because it’s an Absolutely and Completely True Story That Never Happened.

What is your fondest memory of Bibliotech?

The French-and-Indian war! The Kittanning Expedition in 1756. Bibliotech kept saying it “ki-TANGGGG” like a (more…)

Dude, that’s totally messed up.

So I says to my friend Eve…

I’d like to see a cross-fandom story that has Captain Jack Harkness, Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Jack Aubrey (Master & Commander), Jack “24″ Bauer, Jack-from-Will-and-Grace, Jack Ryan from the Tom Clancy novels, SG-1’s Jack O’Neill, and Jack Skellington, all having lunch at Jack-in-the-Box.

To further complicate things, also participating are Jack McCoy, Dr Rodney McKay, John Sheppard, and Jack “Lost” Shepard.

John Sheppard: McCoy!
Rodney McKay: What?
John Sheppard: Not you. Jack!
All-the-Jacks: What!
John Sheppard: No! McCoy!
Rodney McKay: Sheppard!!
Jack Shepard: I’m over here!
McKay: NOT YOU, JACK!
Jack Aubrey: Me?
Sheppard: No, not you Captain Jack.
Jack Harkness: Someone call me?
Everyone: NO!
Jack Sparrow: It’s like a bloody game of Marco Polo.

I suppose I could also have Dr McCoy, to really confuse things. And SG-1’s Daniel Jackson. But that would just be getting silly.

I don’t know if there isn’t anyone out there that doesn’t know what LOLCats are, but if you don’t, click that link right there. Put down what you’re drinking first, because some of dem cats has a flavr.

The invisible ones are my favourite.

ANYhow… it’s spreading. There’s One that’s all Dr Who, all the time. They pop up everywhere for anything with a following. I have to admit these things amuse me a lot

What got me tonight is The Trouble with Tribbles as retold in LOLCat form.

You have GOT to see it.
