There's a man-made pond on the grounds of Johns Hopkins Bayview. There are occasional ducks and Canadian geese there, but over the past few years a heron has been there more and more often. It looks like it's taken up permanent residence there.

Whew.
The flight back was delayed a little bit which wasn't bad, except it was hot in the airport and we were getting drowsy and driven insane by the Christmas music.
